Ron Hill has a never run, brand new one for $2500. He found it in Mexico. It doesn't have a scratch on it.

Yes, Ron's sold a few days ago. Let me save you a bunch of heartaches Smirnoff.

Unless you can buy a good engine right off the race course, from podium to your trunk, your better off finding an OK one, running it for the remainder of this season, then sending the block to the builder of your choice to make it scream.

Very few if anyone are ever willing to sell anyone their goodest motors. You will get the one that does not run as fast, 99% of the time so you may as well make what you want.

And may I add after reading Todd's response....A new driver, in all honesty, does not need the best of the best for the first season out. Save a few engine dollars, then focus on a good J boat the will handle and plane well. Get a motor that will keep them in the pack up to the start to learn the ropes. If they get passed that, and as talent grows, build the crap out of your motor....

Even if you were able to get that brand new A motor Ron hooked up with, you still would have had to drop $5-600 bucks or more BPing the block....

Sorry, it must have been deleted by accident. An OMC- last year we ran ASH, Bill qualified at the Nationals and ran 6th so its a good engine
