Hey FE/850 racers,
Jump start your FE program with my freshly broken in 444 powerhead complete and ready to race. This engine set fastest ET for the IOA Hillsdale weekend in September 2008 during it's first race driven by Rich Welch.
Go to Boat Racing Facts under "outboard history" to "name that outboard" for details and many more images. You can own this 2008 Kurcz 444 engine, serial #1 powerhead complete for $5500. Bolt it on your tower and go!
New except for break-in and 8 heats of racing, it's a M500 block with +.020" Wiseco's, balanced and blueprinted (of course), Kurcz-Parker stacks with cooled filler block, Roskowski ignition (awesome), the Kurcz 444 intake conversion with 4 six-petal OMC pyramid reed boxes, 4 KA-2A Tillotson carbs (fresh internals), and built in primer system (no squirt can needed!).
On a D-Mod boat with a light driver, it's proven itself very fast around the race course, and still needs more tuning! More images available on request. Good racing!
Tim
