2009 National Dates

Does anyone have information on the dates for both mod and stock/j nationals for next year. Never to early to start planning.

Middle of July for Mods at Zanesville, a week off for travel and last week of July for Stocks at Grass Lake

Hey Mike: found this posting from Mike Marshall-this is Mod National information:

Zanesville 2009 Mod Nationals
The 2009 Modified Outboard National Championships will be hosted by the Indiana Outboard Association (likely, with much help from TRORA) at Dillon Lake State Park, Zanesville Ohio. Dates will be sanctioned testing on Wednesday 15 July, and racing on 16, 17, 18. Sunday 19 July will be a blow-out day. In addition all "J and AX" classes will race and about 5 selected Stock classes to be decided at a later date based on club desires and expected racer turnout. Thanks for the info very helpful. I hope we can hit both nationals without having to traveling back east. With any luck they will be scheduled one week after they other?

So are the Pro Nationals during in between the mod and stock nationals? July 22nd-24th?

I am not sure as of the exact dates yet, I am not sure it has even been voted on, but the pro nationals are usually the last weekend in July. This could mean it could be that weekend or the weekend after, I would hope that they do it the weekend you talked about so that the stock guys could come as well. My dad is the one that would probably have the answer, he may be nice enough to get on here and answer both of us...

yea, i hope it's the weekend in between too. We'll have to wait and see if Big Paul get's on here and let's us know. 22 days until I'll be in Florida.lol

Pro Nationals are usually last Friday in July and forward.

It's in Michigan on the Main part (not the UP, eh?). On a map it looks like it's close to Ann Arbor and West of Detroit...

Stock Outboard Nationals

The Stock Outbaord Nationals are July 25 through August 1 in Grass Lake, MI.

Driver meeting will be Monday July 27.
