Has any one ever painted a yamato power head?
And if so how did it turn out, and did it efect the power head as far as overheating? Or was there much diferance?

I used krinkle paint on a 202 cylinder block I was preparing for mod work this year...no problems whatsoever. Figure as long as it was watering it was cooling...no problems.

I understand painting the blocks used to have some real merit on castings that weren't top quality in technique or metallurgy...but the Yamato folks have their "aluminum" together and paint probably is a choice you'll make for appearance sake rather than performance.
