          will vertical split foot work

          Steve:

From what I can tell from the picture, the tower housing pictured is a housing that was orginally used on the Yamato PRO racing engines, 250, 350, etc. If that is the case, and it certainly looks to be with what I am able to see, as I used that same setup except with the yamato clamp bracket assembly also under RB engines, then the yamato vertical split foot should bolt right up as that was the orginal unit with those motors. As to the powerhead, I dont know, but I do have several adaptors that adapted the 80 powerhead to that tower housing if the 80 and other bolt patterns are the same. If my adaptors would not work, it would be a simple matter to make something out of some 3/4 aluminum stock.

I took a 202D powerhead off this rig, and just sold the vertical split hatchet foot off the bottom. So, yes. Quite well.

Only thing you'll need extra is longer studs on the bottom of the powerhead.

This tower is just waiting for someone wanting a C-Mod

I've gone on to building an NBRA E rig, and this C-Mod tower and adapter needs a good home. I used a 202D powerhead on it with a yamato hatchet foot...never got the exhaust system worked out and just decided to add a couple of cylinders to haul my fat rear around. This tower is gathering dust in my shop.
