  • Race trailer wanted

Looking for a small race trailer with motor box; preferably a walk-in style box. One or two boat trailer and enough box room for at least two Yamatos and assorted gear; something that can be towed with my mid-sized 5-cylinder car. (I'm not quite ready to plunk down the shekels for a Suburban!) Would prefer something turn-key, but also considering fixer-uppers provided frame and axle are solid. Not looking to spend a ton of dough, so please don't entice me with 20-foot covered jobs with HAVC and stereo surround systems! I live in northern Illinois and am willing to travel somewhat, but cannot go across country. (Do you think I've set enough limitations here?) Please e-mail me directly with your trailer photos and dollar requirements to: thepiranhabros@gmail.com

    Thanks.

I have an old trailer that might work. It needs some paint and probably new carpet on the bunks, but otherwise it is very solid. It might be a tad heavier than you would like, but we used to pull it with a minivan. Also as a plus, it is sitting in Delavan, WI. It shouldn't be too bad a drive to retrieve it. Give me a call.

        Check this trailer out

This is a nice trailer I have seen. Dan hauled 2 hydro's on it and 3 Yamato's in the enclosed box with lots of extra room for odd's and ends. It would be worth checking into. And I know he is going to be heading to SHelbyville, IL in near future maybe he work with you on transport.

        Two Boat Trailer For Sale

        --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Two-boat trailer with 44X44X48 motor box. Comes with 3,500 lb. axle to replace lighter weight single-axle running gear currently on trailer. (Axle made specifically for this trailer, but I'm going another direction and won't be using either the trailer or the axle.)

This is the Acme Racing "Acme Crate" trailer I've been using for several years.

Has all new running, stop, and signal lights and harness, good tires.

        $600 firm.

        Can deliver to NBRA Nats.

Bump. And unlike the helmet color DQ thread I've been reading over the past few days with much delight and eye rolling, I don't care what color the trailer is!
