Big Safe Boat For Sale!

This is an interesting boat, most likely ran in CSH. I have never been in it, so I don't know how it rides. It was built by Aries Boat Company. I ended up with it in hopes of getting a rookie started with it and it didn't work out.
The bottom is 35 1/2" wide and 10' long with no tunnel. With the very long european pickle forks the overall length is 11' 10". The transom is 16 1/4" high and has a 15 1/2" wide cockpit with a wonderful 20" high side!
The brackets are there but no fins. Has a throttle but no cable. Has a keller steering hub with and old wheel. No steering cable or pullies.
The boat is very solid and appears to have never spent a night outside.
All she needs is a driver, a paint job and some love. Ok, my wife says alot of love.
Actually, I hope the boat doesn't sell since Christine wants to park in the garage this winter. If I have too many boats she parks outside...LOL
This boat can be delivered to Whitney Pt and the best reasonable offer wins it.
Would be a great Norcal 400 type of rig. I will not bring it to Whitney unless someone wants it even though I really need the garage space.

One more measurement that I'd throw out there for potential buyers: The distance from the back of the sponsons to the back of the boat.

Wow, Steve you nailed it...it is 78" from the sponsons back. The sponsons are a whopping 64" long! They can be cut way back to make the mod category rules.
The cockpit is offset 2". Leaving for the nats Saturday morning.

From what I hear this boat would do well at Thompson, Ct or Flanders, Ny!

My father may be jumping into 25ssh (his first season), anyway you can get the boat to Taunton Mass or Kingston NH races? I will talk to him. He may be getting a 25xs in the next week or two but we dont have a boat, and I am sure he would take this one!!!

Jeff I am with you. If this boat is going to be run in 25ssh I can help get the boat to Taunton or Kingston. I am pretty sure that I am going to Kingston otherwise I will be in CT. Transom Height

Jeff,

That boat was built buy Bud Gann. Debra Galetta drove it in OSY400 and was very competive. The transom was set up for a Yamato 102. Check the transom height, I think the 25ssh motor has a shorter mid section.

Thanks for the heads up, we were thinking the same thing, but it looks liek it should be easily cut down. By the looks of it it could be cut down by about 3 inchs or so before even hitting the siding.

Question: does the side have the kevlar reinforcement? if not is it required? and how do we get it?

of course the transom needs cut, down to 12" for the 25xs.
