I have nine kickout brackets left for the 55H and 30H engines.
They slide up with the engine as you shim.
15 Degree transoms.
Stainless and 6061 T6 Aluminum.
$100.00 plus shipping
I also sell the tanks with caps for $300 and the folding steering bars for $100 with hardware.

Any to fit the 25SS tower ??..........had to weld two of em that cracked at the exhaust relief ....one cracked back thru the 1/8" plates/gussets...
Lost a 20H tower that broke at the lower bush'n.....gear foot/prop still at bottom of lake.

My transum is 22-23 degree.

Gott'a have this style kick-out if yer gonn'a do some serious running with a Merc cast tower!!

I am not sure of the mounting system for the Bass tower and gear foot.
I built these for only myself, for the 30/55 H "D" Canadian classic engines and for my transom angles then My friend Ron Colins just had to have two then other friends wanted more. I can say that they work super on these engines and at transom angles of 14 to 15 degrees.

The fuel tanks weight is 4 lbs and it's capacity is 160 oz.
I run a Mark 58A engine on a 55H tower and foot, this tank gives me enough for milling twice and two heats. The cap has the vent that can be opened for running and closed for transporting and is included. Extra caps can be purchased at most marine stores. Price is $300 plus shipping. Shipping should be less than $40 and I will refund any extra (Cont USA).
These tanks have been torture tested by a "D" hydro driver at Waterford, Ontario, Canada a couple of years ago when the untightened mounting bolts fell out and the tank was dragged for two laps untill the hose let go. It kept working. How come bolts always loosen and don't tighten?

Looks to me like it will, the swivel pin boss on the Bass looks the same [assuming its the same as a MK55 clamp bracket] the only questions are is it a perfect alignment up & down and is the radius the same? Its a great idea. If there were an icon w/ a lit bulb it would go here

Hi Charlie,
Do you have any brackets left and are the angles adjustable at all? I need to get a bevel guage and check my Austin D Runabout. If I have 14 or 15 degrees I'll take one.... I'll check it tonight and let you know.

I have seven left.
There is no angle adjustment for these brackets as I built them for my boats with a total disregard for anyone else's transom angle. This is where we laugh.
If you look at the photos, you will see that the welded aluminum internal threaded round bar is at a angle of 14/15 degrees and as the transom is angled more than this the engine moves farther back. This means that the welded bar has to have been welded to the plate at the transom angle to the bottom, and must be longer to meet the movement back of the engine.
The threaded SS rod and Nylatron bushing won't change.
I have lot's of tanks and steering bars.

note: When installing the kickout bracket leave the SS bolts with the nylox nuts a little loose as this will let the bracket centre it self, if you don't trust the locknut add a drop or two of blue locktight, but leave the bolts a little loose. After adjusting the angle to suite your set up, tighten the large SS nut, this will transfer the loads to the nut and aluminum round bar not the aluminum threads.
You should receive three to seven MPH increase in speed. Ok that is not true.

Kick Out Bracket

Hey Charlie,
I don't think the bracket is gonna work for me .... My transom appears to be about 18 degrees. Thanks for the info, looks like a nice bracket at a nice price. I'll keep looking. Thanks again.....
