I hope we don't schedule it the same weekend as another race again. I think that is our major problem with turnout there.

Sharptown Race

Well people, I'll tell you this, do not make the race date the same weekend as the Harrington, DE Street Rod show. Because the hotel room fees double. So for us boat racers that don't have a cool camper like Sam does, paying double for a hotel room sucks. Somebody call the Harrington Fairgrounds in Delaware to find out the dates of the street rod meet.

That's the date for the White Haven, PA race anyway; sounds like a double killer for that date.

The Waterford Ont race has been killing Sharptown year after year. Our Region 1 and 2 friends all go to it instead of driving down to Dixieland (the Sharptown race is within sight of the Mason Dixon Line!). I'd rather go up against Constantine MI and risk loosing the few Region 6, 7 & 8 drivers that might come.
