Notes from my 2007 race log:

      Short course (Raleigh,NC)
      11:15 gear ratio
      79.4 MPH
With great accleration, make sure you're the first one to the turn!

      Long course (DePue PRO Nationals)
      12:16 gear ratio
      83.7 MPH
Must keep RPM's high through the turns to keep Krier and Hellsten from passing!

Hope this helps! PM me if you need any other Info!

        Notes...?

While your giving out notes I would like a download of 250ccH when available!

        Is it cold up there?

        Chris

P.S.-I took your trophy to the engravers yesterday.

As far as the 250H notes go... I think they work for VRP engines ONLY!!!

You always have to hit me where it hurts..... I'm sure you take a glance every once in a while to the very top of the screen when the Weather Channel is on!

When you say trophy.... Do you mean the Gibby Peterman???

            Brandon,

Notes are notes....not engine specific.... Actually, you had no problem revealing notes til "I" asked!

Weather down here might actually get to freezing tomorrow night....might put a little damper in testing plans! Are you doing much testing up there??

I was refering to the Peterman Trophy....I hope you have a warm place to keep it. It is not used to cold weather... !

I hope your dad isn't working you too hard to pay for all the toys you get to use!

            Signed,

            Your future Coach driver

              Thanks

Thanks for the replys, Still doing my research. Basicly you should have both options? do props interchange between ratios?

                250 R Lower Units

Your props may be interchangeable between gear ratio's. But, you can expect a compromise. For someone just starting-out, you may find more foregiveness with the 11:15 gears.

During my one season in 250 R, I learned the hard way that you cannot always "grab a handful of pipe" as you exit the turn. The runabout has a little extra drag, the quick pipe-pull lugged the engine a little and the top piston sometimes burned.

I'm running an 11:15 Rossi unit under my 250 MSR Kawasaki.
