To whomever is out there:

I'm new to outboard hydro racing. Built a boat for waterskiing when younger, but always wanted to race. (Currently race on sailboats, and I'm told I'm going to the "dark side.")
The only sites I can find with up to date boats are Fralick and Sorenson. Are there any others? All the rest I've found are either quite old, or not competitive.
Also, are there any places besides the Michigan club that offers courses and training in actual hydros? I reside in the Northeast US.

Any info appreciated. Thanks in advance.

First off, welcome. We're glad to have you interested in our sport. You will find this site to be a wealth of information on all things kneel down racing. As far as driving schools go, we do not currently have one going in the NE (at least that I am aware of, although I am trying to plan one for this year). There is a long list of people on here that can point you in the right direction, myself being one of them. Give me a call, 609-234-3450. I'm located in Southern NJ.

Central Connecticut. Used to watch hydro races on the Connecticut River near Hartford when I was a kid, but don't know if that happens anymore.

I am in Norwalk 203-434-9002. Give me a call anytime. Hartford has had a Titleseries race 2 of the past 3 years ( Pro ) and will again this year on LaborDay weekend. Also a Stock/Mod/Pro race in Thompson, CT in Aug.
