  • Propeller Theory 101

I have been studying during the off season and one topic I spent some time on is Propeller Theory. I do not consider myself an expert but I would like to share a few resources for anyone wanting to step up their game by better understanding how their propeller selection affects performance.

Mercury Marine has some real good info on their website.

    Enjoy!

Mercury also publishes(or used to publish) a very good, quick read guide titled QuickSliver: Everything you Need to Know About Propellers.

A racer mentor of mine loaned me his Fourth Edition copy and I very much wanted to share it here but…I don’t want to violate any copy write laws.

I did a little research on-line and you can find the Fifth Edition at http://www.docstoc.com/docs/26790952...out-Propellers
