Allthough Im sure Ill still be a rookie for some time I was fortunate enough to complete the last 7 of 10 racing heats at Millville this weekend. Im hoping to start back in spring w/o stripes.
I want to say thanks to several people who stepped in to get me roped & to Bill Scully of Moms Devil Racing Team for help.

Mike; -with names like Bowman, Runne, Augustine, and Gonyea in front of you, and Howe and Nichols chasing you,
I would say you should loose the stripes
CSH and 20ssh are the most fiercely contested classes racing today. It is a three year project for any one to get competitive in these classes.
You are not using the boat you bought up here in ON are you?

Thanks Brian, Im running a 1978 Bezoats, the Moms Devil's former ride. Lucky for me its a very good ruff stuff boat & forgiving too. What a ride. I dont know how the results work yet but I was last place thru-out. I just feel good about getting alot closer to the action this weekend. Mike
