  • The Late Mike Devore winning in Seattle

Yes, this video is old, 2011. The inception of the Flatbottom V-driven 'Sportsman Entry' (SE) class and the speed limited (GPS95) class saw life @ Burley Idaho in 2008. However: This video was the first time our 'Nostalgia' boats ran the two new classes together in Region 10 turf! There just wasn't enough 95 class boats running that day, but add the looming 2016 capsule rule and GPS95 should grow significantly! To my recollection, there were only two GPS95 boats in this heat but you can see one SE running close to the 90 mph to give Mike in the orange ProStock ANY competition. Watch Mike do a masterful job of setting the pace somewhere around NINETY mph with a legal Pro Stock 496! Mike lost his life in this boat this October 2015 after being tossed out during testing. RIP Mikie, this ones for you Champ!

Here is the Final on Sunday, almost the same results and we ALL had fun regardless of who won! Nostalgia finally was within the arms of Mother APBA and welcome!
