That's Randy Festervan. He lives about 15 miles from me and used to race with me.
The blowover happened in 102 mod hydro - start of first heat. He won the AOF Nationals in 102 stock (APBA C stock) the day before and almost beat me out for the title in CMH! He won the first heat of CMH and I was second (I thought I had it sewed up and the little $h!t snuck inside of me!). He went over/through the side in a turn in the second heat though (that'll teach him to try that stuff 2 heats in a row). He had been running the 102 mod on one of my B&H hydros on long courses and on his Twister hydro (copy of B&H built in OKC, OK) on short courses. I blew over in DMH earlier in the year and destroyed the boat that he normally ran on long courses with the 102 mod so we put the motor on his boat and that blowover was the result. He didn't get hurt. Didn't do much to the boat - just put a hole in the top of a sponson.
