We had a great weekend of racing with some close races and shortly after the video was shot, with all classes completed we had a monster lighning storm and rain for about 6 hours. You can see some of the clouds forming in the video.

One heat in the restricted 302 we recorded a top speed of 65.3 mph with GPS but still need a prop that will get thru and off the corners. Just can't get going till the end of the straits.

Also our daughter ran three heats of Novice for the first time and I think she is hooked.

We learned a lot making the video. We have one more but would of had more if we would have pushed the start button. The camera was flawless. Also when you watch the video remember this coarse was a giant three bouy triangle. It is fun to run.

Do you all remember the first run in a hydro. All kinds of last minute advice and then all is forgotten when you hit the water. This was the first run sequence for our daughter. The good news was she was all smiles and liked it when she returned to the pits!

Last pictures. As you can see SLORA also supports the eastern Washington flat bottoms. Turnout was low for all of the classes and it was a lot of work for the folks running more than one class but everubody just pitched in and fun was had by all.
