Night time stadium racing in Japan

This is a pretty neat view of what the course looks like at night under the lights. What a pity that American power boat racing does not have such a facility centrally located in the US which could be used by all category’s. I guess the last such structure would have been the old Miami Marine Stadium which was not protected from the wind like the completely enclosed stadiums in Japan.

We raced at Summerfest in Milwaukee one year under the lights. It was one of the darkest, scariest, coolest things we ever did. The course was super tiny, there was nowhere near enough lights, and there were golf balls everywhere. It was freaking sweet!
