HRTV questions
I uploaded the GT Pro video yesterday, and was happy to do so. But, I have some problems with HRTV that I would like to address.
Mainly, I can find little or no information about this service on Hydroracer. Basically, there's a link to the upload page, and then you're on your own. And, having uploaded a video, and now have zero control over it, as far as I can see.
For instance, due to my own error, while I was typing the description of the video, and before I even got to the Keywords section, my finger hit "enter" on my keyboard and I was suddenly uploading. I let it proceed, assuming that I could edit the entry later (as you can with YouTube, for instance). But that doesn't seem possible.
There may be a page on Hydroracer that describes HRTV, what it's about and how it works, etc., but if there is it's well hidden.
Please, more information. I have more videos to upload, but I'm reluctant at this point.Tunnelboat and V-bottom Plans for 15-35 hp, 40-60 hp, 60-80 hp

Regarding making edits after you post yes you are correct Brightcove does not offer some of the tools that will allow a user to return and make edits. Brightcove 3 is due out later this Fall and should address all your issues. In the meantime you are not obligated to use HRTV please by all means feel free to use the video portal of your choice all of which allow you to share your videos across the net by using the embed code.

Uploading Videos to HRTV
Who Can Upload Videos?
Anyone. As long as the video meets HRTV user guidelines (not portraying illegal or unsafe activities, acceptable to a "family audience," etc.) and deals with powerboat racing in a positive light you're good to go.
How do I share my video after uploading it?
Once it is processed into the HRTV video player, you can select your video and click the link (chain) icon, which will generate a link that calls up your video directly.
What formats of video can be uploaded?
The following file formats are supported: .3GP, .AVI, .DV, h.264, MPEG2, MPEG4, Quicktime and .WMV.
What is the maximum size video that can be uploaded?
100 Megabytes. In most of the supported formats that equates to 2 or 3 minutes of video at the best quality levels. If you have a longer video that you would like to submit, get in touch with us through our FEEDBACK FORM. There is no length limit for videos we professionally encode.HTML Code:

I certainly didn't miss the big banner, and of course I got to the HRTV page. But I will admit to missing the brief instructions in small print at the bottom of the page. Sorry.Tunnelboat and V-bottom Plans for 15-35 hp, 40-60 hp, 60-80 hp

Editing your videos
Good news! When uploading videos, you have to create a Brightcove account. By logging into your account on their site, you can edit video information, such as the description.Tunnelboat and V-bottom Plans for 15-35 hp, 40-60 hp, 60-80 hp
