The best joke about it all weekend might have been ... "Hey look! There's a bird on Dave Augustine's head!" (What the camera looked like from very far away)

We are working on a punch line for our other volunteer for the weekend ... but his own words start it out for sure .... "Hey, when I said yes I thought you were joking! ... well alright, I'll wear it ..."

Cant wait Sam, did the camera stay secure ? I have a brand new system that I'm going to bring up to Lock Haven then on to the Worlds, its all HD I might also try to make Whitney Point but not 100% sure, Lock Haven and the Worlds are 100% locked in.

Yes, the camera stayed secure. With modification - duct tape is a wonderful thing

We need to figure out a way to secure the mount better - rubber or something. Even with duct tape close to the mount, it rattled a little on the helmet.

Believe it or not the best thing to use is industrial strength Velcro then mount the camera on the cockpit side, the industrial strength stuff is juts like using cement.

I bought this after trying a piece that a friend gave me. Velcro sticks great. Adhesive sticks well to a clean, relatively smooth surface. Has survived outdoors for one Las Vegas summer (so far). This velcro is made in white and in black. Won't adhere well to cloth and sewing is not possible (gums up the needle). Expensive, but well worth it. I'll buy it again in a few years when I've used up my first box.

Consider this product to secure cupboards that hold precious stuff against the shaking of earthquakes.

Hope we don't get to test it!

Good strong adhesive and velcro that really holds! I use this for mounting gear to my helmet for paragliding.

That killed it first - at 32&#37;. So I tried PhotoBucket - kills it at 50%.

The Verizon modem doesn't like full-speed uploads, apparently....so now I have to figure out how to throttle my upload speeds...

Leeann, try YouTube I can pull it off YouTube then add it to the HR library. Did you use FCP?
