I ask this question because distance seems to be a major factor in determining whether or not Austin and I go to a race. Turning 15 years old this week, I'm sure he'd love the opportunity to drive the open highways. But those pesky state laws about how old you have to be to drive a car and the threat of jail time will probably mean I will still do all the driving.
So after putting in a full day at work, I have to ask myself, do I really want to drive 7 hours to a race site by myself? And drive 7 hours back home on a Sunday evening to the wee hours of the morning?
Am I the only one who is the sole automobile driver on his/her race team?
