Getting started

Could someone give me an idea of what it would take to get started with a used yet competative setup to run a class such as sst120? Also what is the race schedule like as far as traveling? I have been racing FEH for the last 2 years and familiar with the costs and travel, but am willing to explore.

I would agree with a minimum of 15-20k with safety equipment/trailer etc.
