Most Stock Mod & Pro guys and gals will not know who Cees was but he was right up there with Renato Molinari and Bily Seebold in the world of OPC and F1 racing a true great legend in the history of power boat racing.

I had the pleasure to work for Cees Van der Velden prior to working for Fred Hauenstein at Mercury Plant #6.

I Met Him In Toledo When Our Club Worked The F1 Race And He Was Working On A Helmet That Split In Half To Help Get To The Drivers Face And He Signed A Pic For Me This Was In 1987 I Think What A Nice Guy He Will Be Missed Jake
