    Steve,

45's will not be @ Jesup in SO or OPC form.

        hey

I emailed Fred and Ara to see this thread and post there responses.

Also emailed Bruce Washburn as this might be something to bring up at the meeting if 45ss would be followed by drivers in R5.

        It could be interesting.

sure dont want to mess with a guy like you who is used peeling off a d-hydro down the shoot at a clock.

Was surprised to hear about 45ss ideas on this side of the map.

Thank the Western Formula Lights Series for letting us East Coasties know about the 45SS class.

Think about this, we could run SST45 at OPC events and 45SS at the SO events!!! I would like this tremendously as there are actually still some SO events up here in North Central Florida like Inverness (or Hernando? I cannot remember) and Ocoee. Not sure why Jessup wouldn't also be a viable race but Howie says they won't be there. Sorry Ara.

The two companies I work for have over 580 blue collar workers that would enjoy coming out and watching boat races like this. No better family entertainment. Only problem is, they aren't going to drive to Lakeland to watch them. Ocoee might still be too far, but they would show up in droves to Inverness or Hernando.

Like Howie said, we will probably need at least 6 boats to make it worthwhile to the sponsoring clubs to have a diver there.

Anyone know what the diver actually costs? Are there any other costs associated with capsule boats that SO boats don't have to deal with?

          Thanks,

          Steve.

Check with the crew that works your local OPC events, maybe you can recruit them for the SO club at a good rate. Take into consideration that if you pay entry fee to run both OPC and SO, rather than just one or the other, it will take less boats than you think to cover that cost because you're paying double.

Also, depending on your tow vehicles, the facility needs to have a launch ramp. But that's pretty much it.

              45 at Ocoee

I talked to Ara and Fred. Ara is a go for Ocoee. It's not looking good for Fred, he has a shoulder injury, he may be out for the year??????????

                Brian,

Well, then why don't you drive Fred's boat to make it a 5 boat field? Just a thought.
