  • Aluminum and Nomex Honeycomb in WA

    I have

    >>> 6 sheets (5'x7') of 2"-thick Aluminum Honeycomb used in aircraft bulkheads - $300/sht
    >>> 4 sheets (40" x 10') of 1/2"-thick Nomex Honeycomb O-Ex flexible in one direction, but dimensionally stable in the other used in wing tips - $100/sht
    >>> 17 sheets (40" x 10') of 3/4"-thick Nomex O-Ex like above. - $125/sht

    I am north of Seattle. You can call me at 360-542-4122 if interested. It has to move by truck and I don't really want to ship small quantities. But if someone wants a lot I will be happy to pack it and ship it.

    Clarification on Honeycomb

    I've had a couple calls and I can see I wasn't quite clear on the honeycomb. These are what's called cores. The sheets do not have a skin. The good news is that you can manipulate it into whatever shape you desire before glassing it. The bad news is that it needs to be glassed to make it rigid.
