  • hand trailer

Hi folks. I am looking to buy one of those hand trailers ya'all use to launch your hydros. I have a D and live on a lake. If I had a hand trailer I could avoid all the spectators and the law at the boat ramp. respond here or to lakerat3@verizon.net Thank you, Chris

Hi Chris, most people refer to them as carts. Do a search on this site and you will see a post buy Mercguy for "custom built boat carts: for sale". They will run typically run around $250.00 or so.

    Good Luck,

    Sam

      boat carts

The carts are also available in FL from Ron Selewach, if you are closer to the East coast. They are about the same price for black the powdercoated carts.

        Make your own

If you can weld, you can make one yourself. PM me, and I can send you a drawing of the cart I designed. Very simple. Consists of 11-gauge 1-inch square tube for the main backbone, some 1.5-inch angle stock, some .625-inch rod for the axles, and some .125-inch steel plate for two small triangle gussets and the bottom pads. Add some hardware store wheelbarrow wheels, a can of spray paint, and you're all set.
