  • Yamato pro foot prop shaft

    I am in need of a good used or new prop shaft for the pro foot, mine broke this weekend and need one for the Nationals. I don't want one that has the pin hole wore out.

    Thanks Kevin

    Kevin;
    -was this the OEM 16mm shaft that broke,
    or was it machined down to .. ??
    -if so did it break at the forward pin hole ?

    I assume it is the Y 'PRO' foot,
    and not the newer Y 'Hatchet'

      Contact Jim McKean

      He has a ton of Yamato stuff for sale, as he cleaned out his trailer and found lots of lost "treasure".

        The shaft has not been machined down, and it did break at the pin hole. The unit is the new hatchet with the spiral gears.

        David do you have any contact info for Jim.

        Thanks for the info.

            Prop Shaft

            I will try to remember to ask Jim today (between tearing down a blown engine, sealing a boat and maybe rigging a new engine)!! I will let you know what I find. PM me with your contact info in case Jim has the stuff. There are post offices here.
