Steve - It's not what it sold for it's what it will take to make it run again. By the time you concider buying a Big Block chevy engine, headers, cooling system, interior, paint and a lot of long hours to put it all together most people are not interetsed in such a project. It could be turned into a very nice runner if someone had the time and the shop to make it happen. This one was a good buy for someone that can make it happen.
Go to this site and see what some of these hulls are going for. You might be suprised. The market is very flat on these go fast boats now a days.

A great boat if not delaminated and rotten. Chances are sitting outside without cover or with, it could be a bad investment but makes a great raised garden bed! And kids love to twist the steering wheel and make motor noises! Some adults have been caught doing just that!
Market is not flat, the boats are! I just cancelled on an 8G offer on my boat with used engine! They are way cheaper than one of your outboard motors and a quickie lower unit! I know this to be fact.Comment
