                Trip to CA

Ended up meeting the Wannabe Racing bros just outside Sacramento, CA. Drove down Thursday about noon before New Years and bombed back on Friday! Got back into town @ 5:30am, so needless to say it was a red eyed adventure BUT it was well worth it! Thank god for Red Bull & Starbucks......
Oh, apparently the CA Highway Patrol considers a 1/2 ton truck towing a double axle boat/trailer a combination so 55MPH speed limit.....say what.....learned that one the HARD WAY so FYI to the rest of you!
Joined Seattle Drag & Ski and attended first meeting last night. Good group of guys, things are starting to feel like reality now! Looking forward to getting on the water!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is your boat snout driven (RH) or flywheel driven (LH)

That's funny right there. But I dont think it will be very safe for me to turn around to look at your boat behind me. Oh nevermind, I'll check it out when I lap you.

Being that there's a "speed limit", if everyone can get their hulls to go 85 MPH, it will come down to who's boat handles the best in the turns and who has the biggest juevos to hold it at 85 around the corners. Not going to be much lapping unless people show up with stock 275HP truck motors and flatties turned into tugboats

I love the jabbing, keep it coming Mr Sodium!

Like I used to say back when I played ball..... "SCOREBOARD". That's the best comeback ever and nothing to be said after that point. Watch out for Waters Racing and the Frankenstein is all I can say!!!!!!! -Shawn

Hey Marissa, looks like your throwing the whole toolbox at the ol' Marlin. I haven't touched my boat yet but I'm getting a pretty big pile of parts to change over. I could actually take the boat to the lake and run it if it warmed back up. Looking forward to a great season.
