While people were racing APBA at Pateros a bunch of jets were taking on some of the racers that didn't go to central washington. Backlunds fords armada took on a Jet with a 572 or 632 , blower, on E85 and laughing gas. The Jets seem to take charge and smacked the Fords pretty bad so Devore In a Chevy Put a spanking on the Pickle Fork tunnel hull out of the hole. I know one of you Ford guy probably lurks, what actually happened at the Non-races--didn't the Jets play fair or did you run out of gas or didn't you realize that a tunnel jet with a blown 572 and nitrous may actually deliver a hard stroke to your behind, the 34 boat with L-Vi in the seat would have put themn on the beach with tears in their eyes.
