  • New old boats in the area

I and two others have recently aquired Eliminator flats from the 70s. The same company still in business making fast boats under Bob Leach, owner.
If you have seen the other sites posts dont bother to click here:

I plan on using mine for the blown motor for a fast ski boat with looks!

Quite appropriate, I think, that my Drew Marine sponsored engine will reside in a Black boat that even resembles a Sanger.

By the way, this 396 motor plus a spare 454 is for sale still, Mr. Moore!

OK motor didnt come with it but:

Here's what I know from 3 weeks ago. If it is still there, it was 1500 with out a camshaft-lifters (he just threw it away) and one of the oval 98 cc head needs one valve and one valve seat. Block is a 1968 or 69 with 2 bolt mains, forged 11-1 pistons, steel crank and all you see in the photo plus a chrome alternator and dist. Plus a 454 rebuildable core! He may take less $s.
Mr. Moore seemed interested, dont know if he called on it. I would have bought them but I have 4 BBCs too many.
      Here is another motor deal:

I would sell my LS7 468 (60 over 454) four bolt main short block that needs a line bore and reassembly for $600. I'll take an additional $500 to make it a long block. So for $1100, you get everything from 049 heads down, including oil pan, timing cover, SFI balancer, big bolt GM rods, TRW 12-1 pistons, Roller cam (no lifters) and you will have to buy a undersized timing chain & line bore job which should cost around $300 for both. Motor should easily make 450 or more horsepower. This is a deal dont you think?

I can't even buy a set of aftermarket FE heads for that.
