  • George Nordling quits

I was asked to help find a new home for the yellow SS701, the current fast class repeat winner. This could be Georges' last Banquet, sure would like to present him with something (special award maybe)? The boat, a LaveyCraft, is 5500 less engine. Same as my wifes red and white boat.

George has joined a special stock car group catering to older drivers. Registration for each event is $300!!! So sad to see George leave after 9 years racing with us! A class act!
Anyone want to jump in and see just how easy flats are to drive??? Boat is available with a choice of engines for a few $s more.

Got the ole puter working somewhat: and his twin to this, E66R has all the hardware to change it to small block power! Oil pan, mounts, props, etc. That boat less engine and v-drive is for sale cheap less trailer. Both are Laveys. Ya Jay, George has everything you need!
Hey lessSalt, you have that Howard home yet????

              SS701 LaveyCraft

boat just left Spokane for Oregon.
George completed nine years of racing Nostalgia and I hope we appreciated his dedication and financial participation within the AOF. After all its not often that a local outboard club has a six time inboard APBA Hall of Famer and World KRR Champion as such a devoted racer. Some speculate that he can never stay away from boats but as a fairly informed source, I think not. I hope everyone involved appreciated what he brought to the table all these years. One incredible driver and owner of a three boat team that really put on a show where ever they raced!
His last and final driver won class once again and both of them will be missed! Boat is for sale on Craigs List.

Driver: Mike Todd, Owner: George Nordling Fast Flat class Champions 2010

              Crew: Daryl and Karen
