Looks to me like the Montana folks did OK this short weekend. I hope everyone had a good time. It took a year to make it all come together and mother nature did her best to stop the show. I am glad everyone was patient and held out for Sunday.
It you were not aware the original course measured 1.27 miles around so we decided that for safety and more ease to watch for wood that the course be shortened to one mile so that is what we did and I think it was perfect.
We really don't have any body of water to make a big course like this so it was fun. Everything is big in Montana
The Montana area is great and sure a wonderful place to race. I've been told the water isn't that high all the time so there is a area to watch races below the road coming down to ramp. A bit of a drive but half the boats are from Montana anyway. Jim PS34 Coeur d' Alene

The water for this race was as high as it gets. Usually there is a 8-10 beach all around the pit area but it went away about a week before the race when the Washington Monsoons hit.
