  • Hall craft V-drives

Just finished a 10 degree for J C that I hope he can find a boat for! It arrived in a basket Box but it appears all is well now. Had 12 hours into it from removing rust and grit, replaced bearings and seals to the tune of $100 and it hasnt leaked, yet. These v-drives have way stronger gears and shafts but are difficult to fint different ratios and would be way harder to set the lash. The shift pod cant be pounded on or your will shatter the housing since snap rings hold the bearing in. Carefully remove the outer seal and seal spacer to see it!

Larry, forget about finding gears for yours and just buy this one. I should have charged about $400 for the rebuild but for J C I cant. If anyone needs a good box with 30s this one is now a survivor!

A while back someone said, "I can only go racing if I have a Casale"'! Boy, are they dead wrong to state that! I would run this with the blown motor with no worries and Jimmie has one in his super stock. They are a beautiful piece and easy to polish!

    Back to my slamming folks!
