  • One of our Nosty family is leaving for good!

Our Patriotic colored Lady Lavey, having started the class with 4 other Classics will leave us forever this weekend, bound for Northern California and Region 11 where the new owner will start a new Nostalgia Flat class for southern Oregon and Northern Ca. We have owned the boat for 14 years so its like family to Robin and I, having won numerous AOF and NBRA events. We'll miss her but welcome another brunch of new racers she will probably lead!
Her last Washington event was Moses Lake Sept 2009, see Moses Lake video #1, #2, #3 heat here on this site.

I need to thank all the fine folks that helped make this boat run! For sooooo long!

    Lance Faulkner
Last but no way least my sweetie Robin (blonde bomber) Schnell; Nostalgia Champion 2002, 2003 and a wall full of awards and top 10s, she even beat me once!

    Thanks Boyd for everything!
Its inside my garage just waiting for that 600Hp motor to be stuffed into it.
Dont worry I'll be up there soon to run it with you all in 2010.

That boat is a winner, however, I was lucky to just catch my breath racing on the Snake River in this shot from Burley. I broke out at 84 due to my ignorance. I didnt allow for the current running about 5 mph. Sure glad I have this incredible shot to remember the time of my life! You're next!

Forgot to mention the great help we got from Team Rankin, thankyou John! So cool to be in the same parking lot and launch area with the Pros. Kind of makes my bald head swell a bit..:Wreath: Merry Christmas Northern California, Southern Oregon, Nostalgia Flat racing headed your way!

        Forgot again:

You can see the 'Gone Broke' name on the side, Number SS26 is on the other side to represent a famous Lavey that was Paul Grichar, Ron and Barbara's Champion super stock from the 70s.
Then if you look close at me in a faded red suit, this is Pauls driving suit from that era he loaned me. Seems I packed mine so well I couldnt find it for a day and 1/2! I'm such a jerk! Thanks Paul......he later loaned it to Win Phillips in the missing man LaveyCraft exhibition.

Hope you might consider going to Burley with 'Gone Broke again'.....
