Just got the word from John Snell, that the Star and Pelican clubs will be hosting a race at Alex over the Memoral day weekend May 26/26/&27, All NBRA classes will be ran, AOF & APBA cards welcome,. Special attraction, an extra day of travel, count me in Ill be there Jeff

A great weekend of racing with some of the most exciting C Stock hydro races I can remember. Lots of very close racing, no accidents, the only bad thing that happened on the weekend was a accidental 4 lap race (Where all the B Runabouts ran out of gas on the back stretch of the 4th lap, LOL)and a certain someone who hit a turn pin..... but ofcourse im not naming any names there.... LOL. But a wonderful weekend, I hope everyone enjoyed themselves, and im sure others will get on here and tell more about the weekend and what they thought was the most impressive thing they saw during the days of racing.. I would like to thank everyone that made the race happen this weekend. It was some great weather and great water conditions that made this a good weekend. Its nice to go a whole race weekend and not having nobody get wet. The only mishap of the weekend was someone cut the buoy a little to hard and turned his solid black boat into a black boat with a little bit of orange on it.

Thanks to all who worked hard to put on the Alex race. The races went very well and run smoothly. I enjoyed competing with everyone especially the races with John Matthews in the CSH. The hospitality and of course the cajun food was outstanding as usual. Rusty Sitton did a great job of announcing and referee.

I would also like to second the comment about Mr. Rusty Sitton doing a fantastic job of announcing the race. He gave a lot of insight into what was actually taking place on the race course to the people that came to watch.

P.S. Mr Rick, I hope we can continue the season as we started it this past weekend in CSH. Hopefully maybe get some close racing in AH too.

Yes, thanks for posting those pics of Mark's new 125cc boat. I redesigned this boat and Mark has the only one like this so I wanted to see how it performed on the water. The pics look great.
