Welcome new NBRA Officers for 2007!
The ballots are in and a new slate of officers for the National Boat Racing Association will be installed at the annual meeting November 4 in Tulsa, Okla.
New officers are:
Jeff Ruth, president, Springdale, Ark.
Jason Sumrall, vice president, Clinton, Miss.
Mardell Swartz, secretary/treasurer, Quincy, Ill.
Doug Schultz, safety director, Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
I’m pleased with the new slate and feel it will provide excellent leadership into the coming racing season as NBRA works to attract new drivers and serve longtime competitors with affordable, well-organized racing venues across the country.
