Runabout will be there, it is an E. If needed I will go for a ride in the SER, only if needed. Boat makes a much better E than SE.

Okmulgee Race

Could someone post some specifics on this race- exactly where the race will be held, hotels, or any other important info needed for someone coming from out of town. Thanks.

Some NBRA NATS specifics

The NBRA Nats will be held on Lake Okmulgee 6 miles straight west of Okmulgee in a state park. Highway 75 is the north/south artery through Okmulgee (from 1-40 on the South and from Tulsa on the North.)

There will be signs pointing west to the race site on Highway 75 at the proper intersection. This is not fast moving traffic... it's the gas station, Wal-Mart, eatery-row area of town, so you'll see the signs.

The road west will lead through some curves, but once you get near the park there will be signs at a "Y"... take the left fork of the "Y" and that will lead you right to the pit area.

Motels in the area include:

Best Western (918) 756-9200

About 15 miles south of Okmulgee is Henryetta (on I-40):

Motels there are:

Henryetta Inn and Super 8 both near I-40 and Highway 75.

There is RV camping with water and electricity about 1.5 miles from the race site and limited (self-contained) camping in the pit area.

Thanks for the info- I would like to volunteer as a turn judge/flag person/tow boat if needed. I have a 19 ft. I/O pleasure boat I can bring- I won`t be racing until next season. Let me know If I can be of help.

Good Luck from Team Tohatsu!! If you need any information on the motor just ask !! We have been working all season gettiing it going fast . Last weekend in Spokane Wa the Tohatsu were 1 & 2 over the ( Mers) D-Stocks.
