A very HUGE HUGE thanks goes out to Alan Owen for once again making the NBRA Short Course Nat's a major sucuss. Still the best water I have been on bar none. Also, the NBRA folks sure do know how to promote boat racing, especially there in Centrallia. I am amazed at how well they do in obtaining all the sponsorship. The town loves the races.

I enjoyed every minute of being there, the good and the bad. My bad luck seemed to get the best of me !! Oh well, I had FUN, and that is the name of the game. I raced against the best in the country from all over, and enjoyed each moment. Special thanks to Mac Attack for the Fuel, and also Mr. Abear, and his crew. Could not have done it without such nice folks in the pits helping everyone, loaning everything. Downright pleasant. A big thanks to the Lakes for letting me borrow your lifejacket on Sunday, and to the one guy who had the beautiful Quincy Painted Desilvia for allowing me to use yours on Sat.

One of my favorite moments was seeing Gene East there, an absolute legend in boat racing. He and dad talked of the old days and what not. The good old days for sure.

Thanks to all of NBRA for making it the most enjoyable race it was.
