All,
In the spirit of the agreement signed in Alex between APBA, NBRA and AOF, here's an invitation from Marine Racing Club (APBA) in Illinois to NBRA drivers who might want to fill in a race calendar schedule with a couple of races in June.
Bill Pavlick offers this:
"My club, Marine Racing Club, has two races in Illinois this year that I would like to invite NBRA drivers to. The first is in Rochelle June 10-11 and the second is in DePue July 1-2. Rochelle will have tow and prize money with a great course on a perfect size lake. DePue is just a club race, but a good race site."
Bill says Marine Racing Club will work to find a way to defray the APBA club membership expense for NBRA drivers who come, and they will be running an OSY400 race for those NBRA folks who run Yamato 202s. HeHe's also looking at how to provide racing for C-MOD NBRA drivers whwho run different lower units than what APBA allows.
So, here's an opportunity to put more boats on the beach at another venue or two... if you can, it would be nice to take advantage of this genuine and generous offer.
For more information on these races, contact Bill at: 630 375-0751. Or e-mail him at: bill.pavlick@perkinelmer.com.
Thanks,
Dan Crummett
