      Lake Shelbyville

Last fall I went with Keith to visit this site. Wow what an excellent site for a boat race great pits, good water. The reps from the the three towns on the nothern end of the lake were really excited. Keith continued to work with them and some exciting things have happened this summer. We have acquired a corporate sponsor for this race Touchstone Energy. They have locations thoughout the country. And this could lead to sponsorship at other sites. The Il. Board of Tourism has put a lot of hard work in this race. The Corp of Engineers has been very cooperative. Now its up the boat racers to support this race. I am sure a decent show will lead to bigger and better races. Consider this a invite to our APBA-AOF brethen. This could benefit you too. Rember you can race both days for $25.00 NBRA fee.

        I will Try

We have it on the schedule to try and make, depends on some things.

Glad to see NBRA growing to be the largest Mod club around. Good old boys racing there.

          Shelbyville

Dave I hope you guys can make it. We really need a good turnout for some very excited sponsors. I am working on something to try to entice some other drivers to come also.

                    A-Class

You could run in our A class. It is a combined class with the Yamato 80 & Hot Rod & Merc engines also. Doubt if you will see anything but Yamatos there. They must weigh 400 lbs. You will run APBA weight. I have no idea wether you will competitive or not. We hardly ever see a OMC in NBRA.

                          Apba- Csr?

Is there a class for an APBA C-Stock runabout? If so, how many boats can be expected? I currently run a Yamato 102.

                            C Stock Runabout

We have a class for your c-stock runabout. We call it B runabout. There is usually a good turnout for this class.

We also run the 40ci Merc motor in the D class also a stock 44xs can run in the D. The 44 Mod Merc is the E class. I know several of you have the 40ci Merc so bring them out of moth ball and run them, we will have ours.
