Would love to be there for good racing and Tunk's, but I have my 20 year college reunion that same weekend. Hope everybody has a good time. I am leaving tomorrow for APBA Winter Nationals in Ocoee, Florida. Hopefully I can bring some glory to the NBRA!!!!!!

I should have my new Giles SE hydro ready for Pineville, La. thanks to Rick Miller for hauling it back to this area.. Should be quite a show .. Dandy David with his new plastic boat, Rotten Ralph with his, 78 foot long trailer load of toys, Smily Artie Lund, John Kincaid, Homer Shultz and Buster, Cleabern Phelps and his 6- holer Mercs, Lee Keller and miscellaneous drivers. and others. Hope the local beer distributers will be able to handle the load. B BURT

Old Dan Crummett and his Snyder Spyder in Chrome Yellow will be there as
O-49 again, hunting the likes of John Matthews in 102sh.

Sounds like a great gathering of eagles (or pelicans, or whatever... you know Burt is coming so eagles is a real stretch!)

sounds like we will be having a good turnout , hope i see yall down here . we will try to race AR, BR, AH, 102SH, and maybe CR ( with the looks of that snyder spyder of mr. dan 's i think i will be the one doing the hunting ) the boat looks great i saw it on boatracingfacts .com , but anyways , mr. vernon are you going to bring your 102 hydro ? it would be geat to race you agian in that class .

It's only 3 weeks away

April 22,23,24 NBRA will have it's season opener at the fastest body of water anywhere. Ft. Lake Beulow, Alexandria/Pineville, LA.
Friday April 22 will be a full day of testing. It will be exciting to see David W. and Burt H. get they're new rides wet for the first time. Also Keith Kampen trying his new SEH and I'm sure Larry McAfee has some new trick engines for Kevin to try out.
Saturday April 23 and Sunday April 24 Will be filled with Nose to Nose Competition on the lake. And lots of BS on the beach.
All legal NBRA classes with at least 3 legal boats will be run.
SHOULD BE A GOOD TIME FOR EVERYONE.

I will be there........It's been a while........I will be runnin' D-hydro and E-hydro ..... do you think there will be enough of ''D''s there to run..... all of my stuff is fresh and new, I just hpe it runs well I haven't had a chance to get on the water yet.........

There should be enough D's at Alex to run. Burnin' Vernon and Team Mac Attack are both going to be there. If needed I'll borrow a D motor. (I'm working on one, but don't have it ready yet.)

how many 2cyl guys will be there??????????? i'm runnin 1 tooth off gears on my 4cyls will any 1:1 props work.or am i going to have to run my b-1 wheels.........all we ran before is 1:1 gears so this is all new to me........thanks , kevin nichols

In NBRA you can run a D stock (44XS) in D mod (55H). You can also run it in E (modified 44).

I don't know how many 2 cyl boats will be there....??? For starters, try your 1:1 E props on the 14:15 D. Try borrowing a B-1 or maybe Super E prop for the E.
I have a 7 1/2 X 13 3 blade cleaver you can try also. That's about the only thing I have that may be big enough. I'm still running 1:1 on everything.
