Thanks for all of the help and support for the Nationals on the web site. I was out setting the course today and checking out the lake. the lake is a couple feet low but the shallow end turn 1 is still 6' and deep end turn 2 is 9.5' so all looks real good. About 3 years ago the City stopped using the water out of the lake for its supply and they use out of Carlyle Lake now. This is a good thing because this year the lake would have been to low to race for sure. All is ready so pack up, get things tuned and head to Centralia for one of the best lakes you will ever race on. V-25 Alan

So Mrs. blueskyracer - Theresa , how are you enjoying our pleasent mid-west weather ? I have to say the boat racing gods were with us in DePue last week. We had 3 beautiful days in the mid 80's and after this summer that felt awesome !!!!!!!!!!

Well the temperatures aren't so bad. It the humidity will kill you. Especially when you come from somewhere where it is from 8 to 25%. We are going to go home and need sweatshirts!

Next year , if they are in Centralia again , you should come a week early and stop at the PRO Nationials in DePue. It is about 3 1\2 to 4 hours north of there. I think you would enjoy the racing and hospitality of the fan filled shoreline. Just a thought.

Why are the pictures so tiny? Do I need to do something to see larger pics?
