Unfortunately that is how it worked out! Our race is set dates and can't be changed and was permitted back in October.

We are still hoping a few will head our way with the lure of tow money!

Welcome to hydroracer, we hope you enjoy your visit.

Bachman Lake...sweet right smack dab in the middle of the hood (or no offense really The Barrio)...Always thought it would be a GREAT place to hold a race..seriously though..it was NOT nice around there when I left Dallas 10yrs ago..things change..hope for the better..KUDOs to whoever got the venue!! Should be a TON of spectators!!!

Southern Championship at McAlester, ok. Saturday, three thousands in money prizes, fifteen hundred in tow money and top three will get hats, winners will be given one at says 'Top Gun'. All NBRA classes that fields three boats. 1.5 value in points. This lake is Lake McAlester, where the World Championships were held in 1959. There were 550 plus entries. We have first classes equipment, digital clock, etc. The winners will have a class 2 inspection, much like the div. in APBA. On Sunday, there will be a high point race that will give high point of the day, 300, sec. 200, third 100 dollars. The referree will be Dennis Burke, chief Scorer Patsy Ruth. Doc Miller will be race director. The area is know for it's Italian heritage, with many great Italian restraunts in the town. This is Cmod country, with five good ones from OKlahoma. So please bring your best prop for the three quarter mile course.

Stigler is a great race site, usually a triangle course, beautiful mountain area of Oklahoma. We are working on getting permission to hold the race; Nothing firm. I posted for Rick on his machine, he would not make those misstakes...

Is this the same place we used to race in the late '80s / early '90s?

I remember Cecil Johnson telling me about a race at McAlester that had so many entries you just about had to win your elemination heat to make the finals.
