Dave, have you raced at Spur Lake? It's a big pond, a round course is usually set out. The race is close to the shore and normally there is a good crowd, with lots of food \\, I was hurt there in 1969, was hit by a b pro and it broke my hip. Despite that history, I like the course, but you will never see 75 in your E hydroplane...Bring your diggen props.

No, I haven't ever been here. I have raced in AR many many times over the years though. Mountain Home was home to the MOD Nat's for a lot of years, Hot Springs, and a couple other spots there.

Sounds like a good time. I don't mind a short course, it puts the racing back into boat racing !! Fastest one might not win if they can't drive a race boat. I have been known to lose a few races.. hehehehe. I have been beat by the best and the worst (meant in good taste). I know the Mac Attack has kicked my butt proper many a time.

I think Spur Lake is at least as big as Huntington if not a little bigger. It is plenty big enough to race on. Dave we hope to regroup after the spanking you gave us at Garnett.

It is always fun to race against you guys, Kevin is one hell of a good driver. He is tough to beat anytime we meet up. I hope we can get the runabouts running too, I loved running Kevin in the ER. We have had some great battles and fun in that class. I love the photo of when he didn't see me on his outside and he swung wide on the last corner to wave to his fan club !! ROFL !!!!! When he finally saw me that look was priceless... I wish I could have captured it close up. Yes sir, I am definately having one of the most fun seasons I have had. I always wanted to make all the NBRA races in a season. It is easy to do now with the tow money and the race a month. Easy to plan out. See you guys in the pits !! Hope to have Mrs Kampen and Linda G (if she makes it) serving up some Jiminades... We are staying at the hotel in Waldron or something like that, the one on the NBRA website.
