      Hi John!

John, sure look forward to seeing you and the other Mathews at the Stillwater race. You'll like the lake.

I hear you guys are racing just about anything that has a class now...congrats!

Boomer Lake is where OSU does its "concrete canoe" races...so we'll all be in good company there. I plan to have my MiniMax and full-race Neptune there to take on you and Larry McAfee's full-house Evinrude Zephyr.

Dan, can you post some directions to the race site on Boomer Lake. Maybe, just maybe, might be able to make it. Marilyn is undergoing chemo therapy and is 24 hours into it but if she feels up to it we may make the trip.Thanks. Jack

          Marilyn and Boomer Lake Directions

Jack, first... we've got prayers up for you and Marilyn as you tangle with chemo-therapy! Know you're lifted up, friends.

Boomer Lake is just north of downtown Stillwater in the city limits on Highway 177.

If you're coming from the north or south, take I-35 to the Stillwater, U.S. 51 exit and go east 17 miles to Stillwater. Turn left at Sixth and Main and go north on Main...which turns into U.S. 177 and you'll drive right by Boomer Lake as you cross Lakeview Street.

If you're coming from the east on U.S. 412 (Cimarron Turnpike) out of Tulsa, take the Stillwater exit (several miles west of McDonalds) and follow it into the north side of Stillwater, take the U.S. 177 South exit and drive about 2-3 miles south and right by Boomer Lake.

Anyone coming in with problems locating an exit or Stillwater, or northern Oklahoma, let me know. I'll be carrying my cell phone. (405) 742-4138.

          The more the merrier!!

          Dan

I sure hope we can make it Mr. Dan... this not racing at the moment is seriously giving me cabin fever... But maybe just maybe we can... but if not hopefully atleast once this year we will be able to make it to a race. Gas and work schedules just arent being nice to us right now...

Linda and I are thinking about coming, I was hoping the Mathews would have their new D's there.
