  • New batch of ignitions is ready

A new batch of the CD ignitions I do for the 4 cylinder Mercs have just been spin tested and are ready to ship. 4 of the 10 are spoken for. I also have full butterflies for Merc carbs. These are proper lathe cut ones.

Thanks for the compliment. They are nicer now that I have a shop CNC cut the parts for me. I don't miss the time on the rotary table at all!

Update. 5 spoken for 5 left.

Let me check the geometry. It will be close. It may take me a couple of days to get to it.

I will say it is all great stuff and works perfectly.. I do recommend a electric start for ease of spinning the motor fast enough.. Much easier on us old folks

Still have three ignitions on the shelf ready to ship. Just finished out a batch of 12mm stainless couplers as well. At request now have full butterflies for the old Carter carbs on 20-H Mercs.

contact me to let me know what you need.

                Thanks

Getting the next batch of ignitions to the anodizing shop next Monday. Still have one on the shelf along with the 12mm couplers, butterflies, cone greasers, velocity stacks and spray shields.

I've even got a few of the reproduction Quincy throttles that I cast up ready to go.

Let me know what you need.

                  Thanks

Steve, did you ever determine if a six-cylinder version of your ignition concept was viable? If so, I'd be interested in one.
