The motor is running fine, we are starting on our new boat (100 pounds lighter) and are going to a custom stream lined gear case, so 2014 season should look alot better!

PS with all the testing and racing on the motor, there is no sign of cracks in the tower.

Did you notice if it felt like it was vibrating more than mounted the conventional way.

No vibrations.
This motor wants to go, but we have to get rid of some pounds,and get a better prop... after not racing for 27 years, we learned alot this season,
Like I said eariler, your new boat for 2014 should be about 100 pounds lighter.
