what's the skinny on the 4th of july race? (1 lap around, lemans or timed?) i bought an old sid craft and a karelson from roger compton on vashon about 6 years ago. is he still involved?

compton is in chico cal have not seen him 6 yrs the race is timed 45 mile,s the jones cab over holds the most wins and the best time at 36 min roger stanly owner of the jones boat has not run it 5 yrs he got the boat new in 1959 not willing to let it go yet but he did sell me a mark 58 with good quicky. i will post more pics.
