  • Sobel brothers are returning!!

    Here are some pics of 1 of 4 D mods that we are custom building this winter, all parts are being built in our machine shop.
    Pipes are being fabricated now.

                  Engine looks great. Nice work. From what I see it looks Like these are just part of the rear water jacket cover. In D MOD you can't add any material to the basic block assembly. If these were removable cylinder heads it would make the engine not qualified for the D MOD class. If you want to play with far more allowable modification you could modify a 44 Merc for SE as we have done with the four carb TX444DK we built a few years back.
