  • GRM wins 125 Hydro and 500 runabout at UIM World Championships

Congratulations to Alex Zilioli in his O-125 Hydro World Championship and to Daniele Frontoni with a third place podium finsh, both running GRM engines. Also to Tim Small who showed if you want to win in 500 Runabout, you better be running the powerful 2 cylinder GRM motor. Tim won the UIM World title for the second time running this potent engine. If you want to run up front, then get the front runner, GRM motors.

The complete 125 GRM motor like the one that won the World Championship comes with hydraulic up/down tower and programmable ignition and is 4400 Euros. GRM motors were the most depedable motors all year and finished first and third at the World Championships.

          Euro rate today is € 1 = $1.27 (4400 x 1.27 = $5588).

Does the € 4400 already account for the deduction of EU value added tax (VAT, or mehrwertsteuer in German, which is approx 19%), or is the € 4400 cost for those in Europe? Spent many a year in Germany to know about the VAT/mehrwertsteuer - if sold outside the EU then the MWT may be refunded by requesting through EU customs.

"For the purpose of exports between the Community and non-member countries, no VAT is charged on the transaction and the VAT already paid on the inputs of the good for export is deducted - this is an exemption with the right to deduct the input VAT, sometimes called 'zero-rating'. There is thus no residual VAT contained in the export price." cited from: http://ec.europa.eu/taxation_customs...s/index_en.htm

There is no EU tax as that is exempt because it is sold outside the EU.

Thanks for the clarification - many European companies only list prices for EU, export prices are 20% or more lower and one has to ask.

How much for a new 175 with hydraulic tower and programmable ignition, and is there any difference in the 2014 and 2015 engines?

            Thanks
            Herb

There probably will be some changes in the 2015 motor as it has not come out yet. After some more dyno time, any new changes will be on the new 2015 engine.

            GRM is 4,500 Euro's, so Roughly $5,800.00 for a 175cc
